Ex-Illinois Terminal "Class B" electric locomotive 1575 was built in the shops of the IT predecessor Illinois Traction System in 1910 shown on November 29 2002.
The IT's Class Bs and four-truck Class Cs comprised one of the largest and most successful fleets of homebuilt electric locomotives in America.
IT 1575 was sold to St. Louis Car Company as a shop switcher after the IT suspended electric freight service, and eventually made its way to the Museum of Transportation.
