Attached is a scene of Minneapolis Brill trolleybus 2 operating on Bloomington Ave at 38th St in Minneapolis in 1922 - which I located on the Minneapolis Historical Society's Internet website.  The two trolleybuses involved were stored at the Lake street carbarn located north of 38th Street, using one trolley wheel on the single wire streetcar overhead and a shoe lowered from the trolleybuses to make contact with the streetcar rail to get back and forth from the carbarn and the double overhead on Bloomington Avenue. The experiment lasted until the streetcar tracks on Bloomington Avenue were extended from 38th Street to 48th Street - both coaches were stored until 1934 when they were sold for scrap.
