#1065, St. Louis Car Co. built, 1948, a model Job 1745, with a special safety paint scheme. Taken at Denison Station where 22-Lorain was based. The use of the word "STATION" was standard practice with the Cleveland Transit System.   The 22-STATION is a correct destination sign. The word STATION was also underlined with a red strip to call attention to the fact that the coach would turn into the station instead of going through to the end of the line.   Note at the right a 3800 or 3900 White bus. Having a "pancake" opposed-piston 12 cylinder engine, the 3900's got a reputed one mile per gallon of gasoline
