Cincinnati OH / Covington KY / Newport KY Trolley buses
The Cincinnati Street Railway (CSR) and Cincinnati Newport and Covington (CN&C) trolleybus systems were separate entities. While the CSR ran north of the Ohio River, the CN&C three lines ran both in Kentucky and into Dixie Terminal in Cincinnati. However, in streetcar days, CN&C streetcars shared trackage with the CSR. Some of the CN&C streetcars were equipped with two poles ... many were not, and still ran in Cincinnati. See CERA Bulletin 134, The Green Line, for more information on these operations.
